Your PET PORTRAIT in 3 easy steps
- First contact. Get in touch! We will be fast friends, I promise! I’ll ask heaps of questions about the furry apple of your eye and get you to fill out a questionnaire for good measure.
- We meet up. Why, hello there new friend!! We would have already talked at this point and nutted out the main concept but this is where I get to meet the star of the show (whoop!) and nut out how we are going to capture the desired image. Seeing where you are thinking of displaying the artwork is a bonus because then I can then incorporate you and your home’s style into the artwork.
- The shoot. It’s usually pretty crazy, we are working with animals after all. But with plenty of treats for the star and jelly beans for the humans, everyone has fun! Pets, being pets, will have their own ideas on how the shoot is going to progress of course! So this part takes a lot of patience and working with the pet’s mood to capture the desired image. This could take 30 minutes to a couple of hours, or I may even have to come back another day, all good!
All this is included in the Creative Fee of $495
I then go and get square eyes in front of the computer. And love every minute of it! Because this is where the chaos of the shoot and often several other images come together to create your very own and totally unique pet art piece. And once you have approved the final image (if you don’t love it, then I’m not finished!) it goes to equally awesome people to be printed.
The price of the artwork will depend on the size and how elaborate the idea behind it is. The price of your artwork will be determined after the concept is finalised and before the shoot takes place, so there are no surprises! Printed artwork starts at $729.
Not so fine print
There is a small prop allowance in the creative fee but more elaborate props will cost extra. They will be sourced or made to suit your budget.
50% of the Creative Fee is needed to secure the date of the shoot.
